✨ About the Blogger
Hey, I’m Ted — the anonymous voice behind No Trust Fund Club.
If you’re here, chances are you didn’t grow up with a financial safety net either. Same here.
I wasn’t raised with stock tips over dinner or a trust fund waiting in the wings. I was raised in an immigrant household, where I translated bills before I could drive, and where “figuring it out” was the only roadmap we had.
I went to a 4-year community college — not because it was trendy, but because it was affordable, practical, and the smartest choice for where I was starting from. I balanced work-study jobs with full class loads, and every internship I landed felt like a small miracle. I learned how to navigate FAFSA, scholarships, and side hustles — all while trying to keep my GPA (and sanity) intact.
Graduation wasn’t the finish line. It was the starting line of a tough job search that came with more rejections than I could count. I didn’t have family connections to call on. What I had was resilience, persistence, and a growing obsession with learning how money really works.
🏗️ Why I Started No Trust Fund Club
I created this space for people like us:
- First-gen kids blazing their own path
- Children of immigrants trying to decode a system never built for them
- Financial late bloomers tired of feeling behind
- Cycle-breakers who are learning money skills in real-time
This blog isn’t about hustle culture or overnight success.
It’s about real, sustainable growth — even if you’re starting from zero.
Here, I share lessons I’ve picked up (and still learning):
- Budgeting when you didn’t grow up with one
- Investing without jargon or intimidation
- Coping with money guilt and family expectations
- Building wealth that fits your values, not just your bank account
You don’t need to be perfect to build wealth — you just need to begin.
💼 This Is for You If…
You didn’t grow up with a financial playbook.
You’re managing debt, supporting your family, and still dreaming bigger.
You’ve felt behind, overwhelmed, or like you missed the memo.
You didn’t.
You’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
No Trust Fund Club isn’t just a blog — it’s a community for the self-made.
For the ones rewriting their family’s financial story.
For the ones making it up as they go — and making it count.
Let’s build something powerful, together.
Legacy doesn’t have to be inherited — we can create it from scratch.
